So this is my first post and I am not too sure as to what to write on it. I want to let everyone know a bit about who I am and why I chose to do this blog. My name is Alyssia Lee, I have a bachelors degree in Biology and working on my masters. I have decided to put a slight halt on school for now in order to see the world while I am still relatively young. I have always been very ambitious about seeing the world, even from a very young age some of my best memories are the travels that I used to do. Before I was even 10 years old, I remember road tripping from Houston to Mexico City with my dad, traveling and staying in the jungles and villages of Chiapas, getting to stay and learn of my mothers culture in El Salvador, living and learning of my dads culture in Texas, and of course growing up in Central Mexico made me a real TCK (third culture kid). All of this left me with an even greater aspiration to see what else the world has to show me. I would study maps and plan out all the crazy adventures that I would have all over the world. Now I am older and my view on the world has changed, however I’ve kept the same ambition as a child of 10, I want to see world. I want to not only see it but I want to live it, I want to get to know the people, culture, food, religion, language of every region of this Earth. There are 196 countries in the world and I don’t want to stop till I have seen them all and a few in between. I am going to try and post weekly about the stories of the people we meet along the way, and hopefully can meet up with a few of you guys during our journey. If we are ever in your town we would love to get advice on the best places to go, and if you ever feel like joining along, send a message and lets travel places! I am exited about the road ahead, I know that there is so much beauty in this planet that God has put us in, I want to explore it all and share with you what I discover along the way.

Vaya con Dios, Cuz!
